We don't know each other, but after I read Sky of Tension, God has been pulling on my heart to encourage you. It sounds like a grandparent has had a heart attack, or something like that. Or maybe not. But no matter what is happening, God's love still holds.
Some verses to comfort:
Romans 8: 26-39 (with some taken out in the middle)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose...

You should delete this blog, Adam. It's too representative of your old-self. Your wife-to-be does not want to hear you calling yourself forgetful and unreliable, and asking for the world to help you make it better. I love you dearly. This blog is not you anymore.
